OUR VISION:
The passage in 1 Thessalonians 5:1 speaks of the "times and the seasons", using the two Greek words "chronos" (times) and "kairos" (seasons). The "chronos" emphasizes the durations of time (the quantity) while "kairos" emphasizes the featured characteristics (the quality) associated with the return of Christ. I believe we are living in the biblically designated "time" referred to in scripture as "the last days" and that we are nearing the appointed time of the end referred to in Daniel 8:9. From a "seasonal" standpoint, we in the final outpourings of the "latter rain". The scriptures indicate that there are only 18 - 20 years left before Jesus returns. The nearness of His return, coupled with the sure and certain promise of a time-redemptive harvest (James 5:7), can only mean that the church is now entering a time of unprecedented revival and harvest - the final move of God. As such, our "Noah Directive" is to warn this generation that the end is upon them and to gather as many souls as is possible into the "Ark" (Jesus Christ). It is a time of "rainy visitation" from the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 10) wherein believers are being transformed into people of "might and power" (revival), being sent forth to "walk up and down in His name" (reap the harvest with signs, wonders, and miracles). It has already begun!
OUR OBJECTIVES:
One aspect of fulfilling this vision involves writing a series of books concerning the end-times. "THE MYSTERY OF THE LAST DAYS" is the first book in a series of three on understanding the times and seasons. In this book I explain why I am convinced that this is the generation that will see the return of Jesus Christ. This conclusion is based on the timely convergence of three prophetic themes in the Bible - the signs of the end of the age, the predetermined length of time assigned to the "last days", and the calendar cycles associated with the Year of Jubilee. There are "set times" in the plans and purposes of God. These set times reveal the approximate time frame for Christ's return for the prophecy in Daniel 8:19 tells us that the end will come "at the appointed time".
The second book, “As You See The Day Approaching”, is in submission for publishing and should be available shortly. It sheds fresh prophetic insight concerning the events leading up to the rapture and the end of this age. It clears up many misconceptions about the end times and presents new evidence from scripture that the church will not remain on the earth to experience the mark of the beast (the prewrath rapture with a pretrib comfort). It explains why watchful believers will not be suprised by His return and how we can see the Day approaching.
The third book, "The Time of your Visitation", is in process but not fully completed yet. It will deal with the important concepts of revival and harvest, including what we can expect when we pray for the latter rain. It will explain the "visitation of the Lord of hosts in our midst" - how the outpouring of His Spirit (His anointing upon us) and the manifestation of His presence (empowering us with boldness) transforms us into "people of might" who are sent forth to do "mighty things". This third book is the application of the concepts learned in the first two for it will detail the "new wineskins" that must be prepared in this hour to accomodate the final move of God so that the "new wine" is not wasted.
- First Objective: To discern the Times and Seasons
To reveal the set times of God – that there is an
“appointed” or “set” time for the end of this age; that the Bible reveals
“when” that time will be; that these things are now being “unsealed” and
“revealed” because we are approaching the time of the end; and that Christ will
return before this generation passes away. God is revealing these things at this time for two reasons; First, to extend the same mercy extended during the time of Noah by warning this generation that the end is upon them. And second, to make those in the church "harvest-minded". To lift up our eyes to behold the ripened fields, knowing that now is the time to reap a supernatural harvest before Christ returns.
- Second Objective: To comfort believers
To comfort, encourage, and assure believers that
there is absolutely nothing to fear about the days ahead. God is pouring out
His Spirit on all flesh in these last days to the end that we are both
Spirit-filled and Spirit-spilled. The church will increasingly “shine” with the
“Shekinah” glory that comes from abiding in the secret place of the Most High
(Psalm 91). This is not a time for "survival", but a time for "revival". We are approaching the 70th Jubilee and the Year of Jubilee is always preceded by God's commanded blessing on the harvest.
- Third Objective: To know what the church ought to do
The Old Testament records that the tribe of Issachar
had “an understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.” The first two books will give you an understanding of the "times and seasons" (the chronos and the kairos). The third book outlines “what” the church ought to do and “how” to do it, for temple building cannot be done "by our might, or by our power, but by
His Spirit”. The book of Acts is a record of the "early or former rains" as mighty people acted mightily. The fifth chapter of James indicates that Jesus will not return until God (the Farmer) recieves the precious fruit of the earth (harvest). For that to happen, the earth must recieve the full measure of both the early and the latter rain. We should therefore expect a move of God in the days ahead that eclipses what we read in the books of Acts for we are living in the time of the latter rain. Just how we cooperate with this "visitation of the Lord of hosts" is critical to this hour. New wineskins must be prepared for the old ways of doing things cannot contain the "new wine".
THE HEART OF GOD
The Spirit of God is "passing through the camp" in this hour (see Joshua 1:10,11) and saying, "Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess." He is raising up "anointed reapers" to reap a supernatural harvest. The days of pharisaical "finger-pointing" must be replaced with the compassion of Jesus who "stretched forth His hand" to heal the multitudes. It is time for the church to hear again the sound of a mighty rushing wind from heaven, to be filled, and to emerge from our upper rooms with the fire of God upon us. It is my prayer that these books aid in this endeavor!
